The Field Inventory NPI Senior Analyst, is responsible for assisting in the daily processes associated with the Same Unit Repair (SUR) New Product Introduction (NPI) program. Focusing on system and sku integrity to ensure a successful and positive customer experience. The NPI Senior Analyst supports the Asurion SUR program through back-end system updates, audits, and analysis to provide recommendations on options that will help identify gaps and new process enhancements. Depending on the project or recommendation, this person will also be responsible for communications, setting targets, and tracking deadlines to make sure we deliver new models or different capabilities on time. This person will help build and utilize dashboards to monitor program metrics and system or device configurations. The successful candidate must possess strong analytical, problem solving, and basic project management skills, as well as be able to work cross-functionally with multiple Asurion team(s) and stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performance tracking and monitoring
Use various tools and dashboards to monitor SUR sku setups by carrier and channel. This will require cross-functional work with the supply chain teams to understand root causes of issues as well as articulating what the team is doing to address the issues when they arise.
Understand financial impact of SUR and carrier or channel launches to help prioritize work and to know when it is important to do more research on sku set-ups.
Understand and document NPI processes and guiding principles. This will help identify process gaps, similarities, and differences by program that may need to be standardized and identify potential areas to explore for initiative savings.
Serve as an inspector in forums such as the WPM and initiative meetings, asking critical questions about impacts to metrics.
Program decision making
Use various tools, data, and analytics to audit and identify areas of opportunity and use the analysis to provide recommendations to his or her leader on potential changes or best path forward. The successful candidate will be able to gather and organize this data (with leadership guidance) so that it is usable for decision-making purposes.
Use various tools and work cross functionally to identify skus that need to be launched and the correct handset mapping that the system teams need to complete this process. All while monitoring and ensuring the set-up process is completed within Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Program communication
Working with leader to create weekly business reviews with key stakeholders to go over NPI launch statues and updates.
Serve as a key business connection between the NPI team and our cross functional partners, communicating changes, trends, and forecast inputs to the cross functional team.
Issue Management
In a complex and dynamic business such as ours, things break and exceptions arise. When alerted by leaders across supply chain of an event that requires research, this person will work with the supply chain team to identify what happened and what we may need to do to fix it.
Identify root causes of issues and push the supply chain team to fix processes in sustainable ways.
Project Management
Help leaders collect inputs or status updates from members of the cross functional team as requested.
Work with leadership to pull together project/launch plan timelines, deliverables, and owners.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Knowledge:
A proven track record of academic excellence
Bachelor's Degree required
2-4 years of work experience; cross-functional experience preferred (examples: multiple business lines, multiple departments within supply chain)
Ability to work hard, take the initiative, and follow through on tasks after instruction
Systems aptitude and experience with Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and creating /using SQL queries
The ability to develop complex formulas, perform calculations, and demonstrate how data was derived
The ability to create and use reports and dashboards
Demonstrated ability to collect and organize data to help frame problems and possible solutions.
Position requires a strong verbal & written communication skill set and the ability to communicate well with all levels of management as well as across various disciplines
A self-directed individual with a strong ability to manage ambiguity and who adapts readily and easily to changes in priorities and business conditions
Ability to excel in an open, flexible, results-oriented, performance-based environment
Ability to maintain multiple/overlapping deadlines and deliver in a timely order
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may spend 4-8 hours per day sitting and working at a computer. The ability to adjust focus, use hands to grasp, finger, handle, reach or feel and sit for prolonged periods are needed for this position. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication utilizing a headset.
